Brown University rising junior and volunteer assistant gymnastics coach Alicia Sacramone (Winchester, MA) won three medals at the 2008 Visa Championships at Agganis Arena at Boston University on Saturday. Sacramone won gold in the vault, silver in the floor exercise, and bronze on the balance beam, medaling in all three events she competed in. As a result of her performance, Sacramone was named to the 2008-09 U.S. Senior National Team and will compete at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials later this month.
