thoughts for the week

For years i have put a flip chart stand just inside the entrance to the gym and put on it, thoughts for the week, from many of the quotable quotes i have aquired over the years.

When i started i would put one quote per week but have more recently put one for each day of the week starting on sunday and ending on saturday. If no one objects i would like to share them with you each week for as long as they last.

Sun July 13/08...an expert is someone who has made all the possible mistakes.
Mon July 14/08...nothing is so simple that i cannot be misunderstood
Tue July 15/08....the leve "3" coach is smart enough and dumb enough to think that it is important
Wed July 16/08...K.I.S.S. keep it simple simon
Thur July 17/08...for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Fri July 18/08...every day is the dawn of a new error
Sat July 19/08...mindless superstition and pointless ritual are what separates man from beast

That's nice you post it at the gym. I do a quote of the week for my team during the season.

One of the teachers at my school said K.I.S.S. was keep it simple, stupid!

Yes. He mostly just used it when he was annoyed with people overthinking things. He was also the pole vault coach before I started(moved to dif. school) and it was heard a lot at practice!
