Do not ever let anyone hit your cyst, ganglion, with a book. Someone did it to mine, I have had many and still have one big one, all the tissue around it necrotised, no feeling and boy not attractive. If a ganglion.cyst needs to be dealt with see an ortho.

Charlo, I am glad you now know what it is, at least that helps you understand the pain. I have exactly the same thing and mine began around your age. They can be taken care of and you will be able to do gym again, it just holds you back.

By the way your lovely little dog is a poodle, she just leaves puddles! C'est quoi en Francaise, une caniche? Elle est vraiment cute.

I have one of these on my wrist too. It normally doesn't bother me. It got really big last spring and then poof, it was gone one day. Now its slowly coming back. I mentioned it to the doctor once. They told me it was no big deal and to just ignore it.
