us team backgrounds

i am bad at photoshop, but tried to make desktop backgrounds for the us national team members. i'm like half way done. i really don't like the shawn johnson one. i think 'll make a new one.

For the one of Shawn there are ways to improve the cutting edges. You can add smooth edges to your cutting choice - and go 1pt inward with the cutting.
I hope you know what I mean as it is difficult for me to explain in English.....

I agree you are not bad with Photoshop at all as the pictures show you are working with layers.

Just remember that you shouldn't be using photographs w/o the photographers permission. I believe two of the Shawn photos are mine, which is ok with me. However, other photographers may mind more

Oh yes...it is always better if not necessary to ask for permission. Just send a quick e-mail to the photographers.
Usually most of them will agree on you using the photos if they are asked.
