I'm not a fan of machines, but honestly trying to keep her not going out of her mind for a month will be tasking enough.

Depending on how big and old she is whether I would add any weight besides machine only. Pressing against machine only can get pretty boring.

Tumblequeensmom is on a distinguished road
She's 13, 5'1" and weighs 100 pounds. I had her do the recumbent bike for 15 minutes on a fairly low resistance, then she did some leg extensions, leg lifts, adducter/abducter machine... all on either the minimum weight of fairly low weights. She finished up with another 5 minutes on the stair climber (no leaning on the handrests). I figured it was better than nothing, and she doesn't even feel anything in her muscles today. Now THAT's not fair!!!

All of that should would probably not be as strenuous than a typical L7 warmup. Heheh.
