TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Southeastern Conference announced the 2007-08 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll today, which includes 10 members of the fourth-ranked Alabama Gymnastics team, pushing the Crimson Tide's league-best total to 181 since the awards inception in 1984.
"At Alabama we strive to stand at the forefront, whether it is in the gym or in the classroom, really in anything we do," Alabama head coach Sarah Patterson, in her 30th season coaching the Tide, said. "All of our ladies work very hard to succeed to the best of their abilities and I'm very proud of the achievement this award represents."
Senior closes out her career on the league's list. The Tide's captain earned Scholastic All-American honors last years as a junior. Alabama's entire junior class, All-American , , and , all made the list again this year. Magee, Martin and Montgomery are all two-year Scholastic All- Americans as well.
