Gymnastics Opens 2007 At George Washington Invitational

Coming off the program's best season ever -- having won the Ivy Classic and placing third at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championship -- the Big Red gymnastics team gears up for another record-setting year by competing at the George Washington Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. Losing only one athlete to graduation, an experienced team of 12 returns, including six All-Americans, three Ivy Classic champions, and two ECAC titleists. Adding nine new athletes to this mix makes head coach Paul Beckwith's 13th season as head coach look very promising.
