The
Alabama Crimson Tide resumed their winning ways this week against SEC foe
Arkansas in Fayetteville at Barnhill Arena. Following the disappointing finish at UGA last week on the beam, Bama's coaches put the team through another relentless week of practice with special emphasis on this event and the results were impressive during both the 15 minutewarm-up period and the competition itself. Bama established a team high on beam for the 2007 season at
49.350, which started off with sophomore
Ashley O'Neal's 9.875 lead-off performance and ended with freshman
Kassi Price's anchor performance, also at
9.875. Even sophomore
Amanda Montgomery exhibited successfully on the beam with a solid
9.800, making it a 7 for 7 night for the GymTide on this event against Arkansas. The GymTide scored 197.00 to the Razorbacks' 194.175. Here are more of the highlights....
