I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I had a very restful break and was lucky enough to have Courtney McCool stay here with my family and me. Ashley, Courtney, and I had such a fun time helping my dad, Mark, cook our Thanksgiving meal, which tasted amazing! This was not our first good Thanksgiving meal this year, however. Our first was held at Suzanne's house before the break, where we got a chance to interact with some Georgia Gymnastics alumni. Not only was the food great, but getting to talk one on one with former Georgia gymnasts like Heather Stepp, Lynn Messer, Karin and Kristy Lichey, Marlene Stephens, Chelsea Byrd, and even Laurie Jones Fisher (a gymnast from Suzanne's first year at Georgia) was a good way for us to see where the program has come from. We also got to know more about the teams they were on and what they felt helped the most through each of their four years at Georgia.
