University of Missouri: Tigers Topple Bowling Green 194.100-188.825 in 2008 Season Op

Bowling Green, Ohio. - The 2008 Missouri Gymnastics squad opened its season with a 193.300-188.125 victory at the Eppler Complex in Bowling Green, Ohio. The Tigers were led by Utah transfer Sarah Shire (Hartsburg, Mo.) who scored a 39.150 in the all-around competition. With the win, the Tigers move to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers score of 194.100 was the second best in the Big 12 Conference on the opening weekend, besting both Nebraska and Iowa State. Oklahoma scored a 195.125, the only score to top the Tigers in the opening weekend.
