TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Gymnastics team returns to action Friday, taking on No. 5 LSU in Baton Rouge. It marks the Crimson Tide's third meet against a top-10 opponent this month and second against a top-5 team.
Alabama comes into the meet after a rare mid-season weekend off from competition, a break that head coach Sarah Patterson said came at a good time.
"We were able to use the break from competition to catch our breath a little bit," Patterson said. "We rested our legs a bit and also worked on the things that will help us down the roads like stuck landings and hitting our handstands."
