SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Without the services of this year's top all-around performer in Division III, Sophia Harrison, and with defending all-around National Champion Julia Zimmerman performing limited routines, MIT's women's gymnastics team entered Sunday afternoon's dual meet at No. 4 Springfield College shorthanded, to say the least. However, a batch of fresh new faces came up with strong performances to help the Engineers garner a team-score of 180.575, although it wasn't enough to overcome the host Pride (185.150).
