UC-Davis Aggies: Nicolini Selected As MPSF Gymnast Of The Week
UC Davis freshman Stacey Nicolini was selected as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week for the period ending February 24, it was announced by the league office Tuesday. This is the fifth such award by an Aggie gymnast in 2008, including three consecutive. Nicolini tied for first place on vault in UC Davis' dual at San Jose State, scoring a 9.800. She also added marks of 9.500 on uneven bars and 9.675 on floor exercise to help the Aggies tally a season-best 192.300 in the meet.
