11 Cardinal student-athletes were named to the Pac-10 All-Academic teams, including six on the All-Academic First Team, as announced by Commissioner Tom Hansen. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be a starter or significant contributor. An athlete is also not eligible its freshman season for the honor. The six first-team selections included senior Lauren Elmore, junior Kelly Fee, sophomore Carly Janiga, senior Alex Pintchouk, senior Aimee Precourt, and senior Tabitha Yim.
