The University of Maryland gymnastics team notched season-high event scores on vault and floor exercise, sparking it to a fifth-place finish in the 2008 East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship Saturday evening at the WVU Coliseum. The Terrapins tallied a team score of 193.375, while West Virginia won the title with a 196.050. NC State scored a 195.475 for second place, New Hampshire was third (194.550), North Carolina was fourth (193.950), Pittsburgh placed sixth (193.175), George Washington was seventh (192.975) and Rutgers finished eighth (189.025).
