Cool thing to hear from a wrestler: He's one of friends, and is really passionate about wrestling-cutting weight, eating zero junk food during the season, working out like mad off-season. He was talking with some of the other guys in our strength class about which sports worked the hardest. He said that wrestlers work the hardest, and then looked right at me and said, "except maybe for gymnasts". I didn't tell him, but I've seen his wrestling practices in action, and that is so intense! It was nice to hear that gymnasts were so respected. Or at least that he felt like sucking up to me.

haha i've done cross country for three years now. i was one of the top runners in 7th grade but then in 8th i almost tore my achillies and now a year later ive only run 2 out of the 6 or so meets and probably wont run any more this year cause i started physicial therapy and if it doesn't get better in a couple week i have to be put in a walking boot. =[ but overall its a really fun sport but its very tough on your body

Cross-country looks hard! My brother did it for a year, got injured and quit. But other people looked like they enjoyed it! ;P

NYgymfan used to be a swimmer! In case anyone wanted to know... But he hates backstroke...and I hate him! Anyone who hates my beloved stoke has been demoted from my fave five! JOKING! Demoted from my fave five...my best friend and I made that up. She likes to say "You've been demoted" and I like to say "You're out of my fave five" (I have TMobile) so we combined it to say "You've been demoted from my fave five!"

Swimming is going good. I basically have to swim a pull buoy between my legs the entire time, can't do butterfly or breastroke and I kick very very slowly...

I wish we had a real indoor season here. A lot of places we go for meets don't have indoor pole vault pits, so I can't compete, or they're jv only meets which doesn't work for me.( I have no prob. competing JV, but it's to the point now where I would enter after everyone else was already out) I usually only get about 2 meets in and then it's time for indoor conference.
