Definitely. I'm just going to be happy to get out there for one more season. It stinks though, because the year they're offering later meets closer to state, I have indoor track and I don't want to be overbooked. Also, I sat down with parents and we decided that if state falls on track's indoor conference again like last year, I'd go to track because I might just claim the conference title this year, and I'd be helping my team out. Trust me, we need it!

Alright. Since my parents are worried about expenses, here's the deal we made: I will keep competing. I will pay a lump sum for the entire season ($1000) in cash. My mom will then pay me back, month by month, half of the monthly fee(so I'll get $50 each month from her). Parents will pay for 4-5 meets-any more will be on me. I'll probably end up coaching younger team gymnasts, so my gas $ and any hotels will be covered by the Y. I would go to nats with a coach. The new team leo will probably be a split cost. It was a pretty good compromise. My parents feel kind of bad for not paying for all of it, but I like being a bit more independent and knowing I can handle it.

Aw thats terrible. My Y is like half the gym. Clean up/set up the gym. But I love my coaches and teammates and we don't try to be a private club we just try to beast it out and beat all the other Y ppls..... haha. But that really stinks. Let us know how it turns out

Holy cow guys! I might not be at a Y next season...or doing gym at all!!!! Our Y is making all these changes and trying to act like a club or something(when if we wanted that we would go to one of the 4 clubs in the 15 mile radius!). Anyway, my parents (and other parents too), esp. mom got really really upset/angry;we've had problems with our Y before, but they said this might be 'the straw that breaks the camel's back'. They were ready to say 'bye' and tell them (it was a parent's meeting w/program director) I was officially resigning from my coaching job. And if I can't be at the Y, I don't think I really want to do gym all that much. Those girls are pretty much my family...unless we all moved together, that's be a different story! They've been negotiating, along with some of the other parents and trying to work things out, so we'll see how that goes. We have to decide soon though, all decisions have to made and payment is due August 4th.

Yup 31. One meet, my beam series didn't count, and I fell (SV=9.3 I believe), my bars SV was a 9.5, and I piked my layout on floor so my SV was also only a 9.5, and I still had over a 31!

I also want to stay healthy for and during track season.

Yeah its what like a 31? In level 5 that was major but now If I compete all 4 events unless something drastic happens I can almost guarantee that I'll get that. lol. Not that you are going to get hurt or anything but I have had teammates petitioned in because they were hurt all season.

To not jinx myself, I will be there if I am healthy enough throughout the season to qualify. Since I'm not moving up, the actual scores will not be a big problem, but it is my number one goal to stay injury-free. My family has said they probably won't go, so I'll be making the trek with either a coach or a teammate.
