Unhappy Injuries

Hey I need some advice. Today during practice on beam my toe went off the beam before the rest of my foot. Now my toe is really swollen and it hurts to walk on it and I don't know what to do with it because it's my pinky toe and it's so small to even say it's broken and get something!!! Anyone have any advice on what to do but ice it??????

Umm...rest, ice, and keep icing it. Give it a few days off, and then if the swelling doesn't go down I'd suggest going to the doctor. If the pinkie toe is broken--depending on where on the toe is broken, or if it's more of your foot--then the doctors will have something to do.

You could have also pulled a muscle or something, stetched a ligament/tendon--etc. I'm not a doctor, so I can't make any medical judgements. If it's still hurting and swollen by Monday then I suggest going to the doctor. Good luck!
