What is Zoints?

We are trying a new profile system on the site right now that promises to help us gain new members. It is called Zoints Local. Here is a description from the creators website:

This system is still in its infancy. We are going to try it our for a while and see if it will work for our forum. Please go to the Zoints drop down menu in the navbar and start editing your profile. Let us know what you think. For more information on the the Zoints project check out Zoints.com.

We have decided to try Zoints until the end of the year to see if it can help us gain some new members. If Zoints has helped us gain a significant amount of members by 2007, then we will consider keeping it. If not we will disable it and the profile section of the forum will go back to normal.
