I'm a guy. I got into gymnastics because of my lovely girlfriend, and will actually be starting off in a gym doing tumbling in a little over a month

. I doubt I'll ever compete but ya never know. But I definitely agree gym conditioning is a great way to get in better shape. I made the mistake of telling my girlfriend that some of her workouts looked easy, and she was like, "OK, go try it then!" Lets just say she kicked my butt.
