Cascade is on a distinguished road
Hi Everyone

My daughter is an eight-year-old level 5 gymnast in the Western New York area. She has a true love of gymnastics. My daughter is tall for her age and has very long legs. I would be interested in tips from others on how to overcome some of the struggles associated with the height factor. This seems to be a very nice site to visit.. we look forward to hearing from fellow enthusiasts in both the USA and Canada.

Welcome. I'm a 15 year old level six gymnast who coaches because I love the sport that much. About overcoming the struggles of being taller, the thing that helps the most is being strong, especially having strong abs.

Welcome to The Chalk Bucket!

It's about staying strong...if she is having problems with any specific skills, we could recommend some strength drills.

I also started a thread called "The Strength Thread" that we are posting all of the strength exercises we know.
