We are looking for UK based girl gymnasts aged 12 to 15 who think they may be suited to one of the roles below, Nadia or Bee. If you are interested in being considered for this exciting project then please send us a 15 second clip of you talking to the camera (via youtube or other) and we will be in touch. friend.

Role:Nadia (Female)
Description:NADIA
A 13 yr old girl who is a professional gymnast. Shy, insecure, tormented (imagine a mix between CARRIE of Carrie and TRACY of Thirteen). Showing a very fragile and submissive appearance she hides a burning, deep nature. Naïve, credulous and anxious Nadia is full of behavioural ticks that betray her superstitious nature. She is self-doubting.
Nadia is the best friend of Bee (the star champion). She wants to look like Bee, dress like Bee and act like Bee. Nadia adores Bee. She feels safe when under Bee’s aura and doesn’t’ know how to approach the world on her own.
Nadia shows a fragile, weird appearance - maybe very pale, almost albino, maybe very skinny (but with a Gymnasts unique muscle tone), or maybe a unique mix of races - she is an oddity. About 13 yrs old - her body is starting to develop and she feels awkward about this.
Nadia started gymnastics when she was five. She and her mother live an ordinary provincial life (no father). Gymnastics is all she has, gymnastics gives her an identity. She is very good at it, but never being number one and recently her performances have started to drop.
Nadia is terrified of failing and not having a future as a gymnast. During the weekend away, she has the shock of her body abruptly changing (her first period) and she discovers for the first time the feeling of sexual attraction for a boy. However, when disappointed by him and betrayed by Bee she finally lets her feelings and passion explode and she starts her journey towards becoming a woman. Nadia will free herself from her dependence to Bee and from the oppressive rules of the training to thrive both as athlete and as individual.


Role:Bee (Female)
Description:BEE
A 14 yr old gymnast. She is the star champion. Very, very pretty, over-confident and graceful (imagine a mix between JULIET of Heavenly Creautres and MICHELLE from Les Amants du Pont Neuf). She shows a visionary, exuberant personality and has the ethereal quality of an angel, but hides a manipulative personality.
She has a superior attitude towards everybody and she uses this to impose her self and hide her fears. She has a natural elegance and attracts others, she is the girl all other girls would like to be.
Self-obsessed and driven to win she takes on everybody's expectations and pressures. She is number one and cannot fail. She appears as if she doesn’t need anyone, but actually needs her entourage (and NADIA) to feel safe.
She loves Nadia and needs her more then Nadia needs Bee, but she is so self-driven and devoted to gymnastics that she fails to recognize Nadia’s feeling and ends up betraying her best friend.

i am 14 and i could but i live in russia so if you can come here an i can get som time of gymnastica i could!!!!!
