Men's Gymnastics

I have a boy in gymnastics in Level 7 and he is 11 years old and in 5th grade. What is in the future for him? Will there still be a men's program at the college level? Dj

My prediction is that there will continue to be men's college gymnastics, but that it will continue to be at very few schools. Which means it will still be very difficult to get onto a men's college team.

It's certainly not a bad thing to shoot for, though, and the odds aren't so low as to make it completely out of reach. I have a number of friends who I competed with and who are now doing gymnastics on college teams. I also have some friends at colleges that don't have actual men's teams, but that do have gymnastics clubs.
