Hello amy, as far as your daughters coaches, there is a great quote i heard when i was a know it all young man and it goes as follows "YOUTH IS WASTED ON THE YOUNG"...LOL.

I do not know everything but i have been around for a long time and any time i can offer a positive opinion do not hesitate to ask.

Good luck to you and your daughter in her gymnastics and her life.

Good day, i am sending you a lpvt message regarding your post about your daughter and her situation. My name is Don G. Anweiler and i am a 60 yr young career gymnastic coach. I am not familiar with the US system. I was diagnosed with ADULT ADHD in my early 50's. Do your daughters coaches know she has ADHD ? Have they read up on it ? Do they understand how her mind/focus works because of the ADHD ? Your daughters coaches should take extra time with her, possibly pvt lessons, and they have to remember that they are there for her, she is not there for them. Working with a child with ADHD can be challenging, i know, the ones i work with almost put me over the edge and i understand what they are going through. I have been on RANITADINE since being diagnosed but my switch to CONCERTA when my prescription runs out because the CONCERTA lasts for a longer period of time. Her first year in the next level may be tough but she will survive it and get better. I tell my athletes all the time that when they go to a meet i do not care how they place as long as they do the best they are capable of. If they have been having difficulty with a skill in training and at the meet they hit that skill then as far as i am concerned they are the all around champion. My gymnasts are told that they are always S.T.B. (Simply The Best).

Sorry for rambling on, hope my opinion helps.

    Don
