its always about THEM isnt it? lol - i have heard paragon in no.va is a good gym but i don't know of any parents to ask for sure - you know excalibur gym at the beach has a girl going to olympic trials! we tried the new gym last night and madison loved it so it looks like we are off on a new gym adventure - i spoke with her coach from her old gym to let him know whats going on and i expected to hear how they wanted to keep her and i did a little but what i heard more was him venting about how his paychecks have been screwed up and he understands how i feel since he deals with the disorganization everyday - i think we made the right decision!
Yes, it does seem that the Tidewater area has a TON of GREAT choices for gyms. We're in Northern Virginia. DD WAS with Capital, but then switched to a new gym closer to home. The coaching has been really "hit or miss" tho, and I know some parents are looking at other gyms in the area (Apex, Chantilly). I had a discussion w/DD the other night about this issue and the bottom line is that she does NOT want to leave her current gym.... sooo I guess this has to be about HER and not ME!! Oh well . . .
we are in richmond - currently my dd belongs to richmond olympiad and we are looking at gym quest - where are you? it seems there are more choices in the tidewater area
