I am new here and thought I would ask a few questions...

1. What is your gymnasts favorite event?

2. What event do they score the highest on?

Are they the same?

It will be interesting to see your responses.

My daughters answers are:

1. Beam
2. Floor

Her favorite is floor, but she scores highest on vault.

Oddly enough, her least favorite is floor and she almost always places 2nd on floor. Go figure.

They do not compete yet
but I think there best one is
DD#1 hers is floor
DD#2 hers is the bars! (tho Vault is pretty darn good)

I am glad so many gymnasts' favorite is not necessarily the one their good at. As we keep saying in this house, its not about the medals. Sometimes she is most proud of doing a good routine on an event she struggles on than winning a medal on an event she is good at.

That makes me proud as a parent.

My daughter loves the beam the most... she usually scores the highest on bars and beam. However---if you asked her--she would tell you bars is her least favorite event and she is terrible on them. I try to remind her that she got a 9.775 on bars at the state meet and placed 2nd. I guess there is no changing her mind
