That is fab - you have reminded me of when mine got hers a few years ago.

I always cry when they get things that they have worked so hard for, actually, .... I always cry when I watch them doing anything! I am the blubbering wreck with the BIG box of tissues at every competition / school play / sports day etc.

Congrats to DD,

Please send the Kip fairy to Lake Owen after July 27.

DD has a list of goals for Lake Owen and included on it are her kip, cast to squat on and jump to high bar, vault over the "real" vault table, handstand "all the way up" on the beam, back walkover on the beam (with all hands and feet on), front and back tucks on the floor. These are goals that my 7yo DD came up with herself. Looks like she is motivated to get her level 5 skills considering she has all the level 4 skills.

I hope she gets her kip and the other skills there. DD got her kip except for a 1 fingertip on her back there. My dds coach and some of our older girls will be there so your dd may see them.

Our team will not be hard to miss. On Monday the boys are going to wear matching red tanks, the girls will have red leos with our gym name on the front, and all the parents that are there will have red shirts or tanks that will be dressed up by one of the optional girls.
