Competition tomorrow

Well dd has her first competition of the season. There are only 2 placing ones and then you have to be good enough to end up in the semi final and final of our province. LAst year she didn't make that and we are not expecting it to happen this year either. She is one of the weaker girls, because she started too late in the selection team, but she loves it, and we are proud of her anyway.

She won't be doing the dismount on uneven bars. She has to do, what we call a salto, could be a summersault (?) and she can't even do that yet with help. So she will get point deduction for it. She has to do floor exercise on music for the first time. She can dream the exercise, but because she can't do the front handspring properly, she is doing a cartwheel instead. Besides those 2 things, she can do all other things she needs to do. But of course mistakes get made. WE just hope she will do all the other things right.

There will be 20 girls of her age and level, so that is quite a lot. Last year it were only 9 girls. Will surely let you all know how she did. And hope to make little films again, like last season.

Thanks. Will surely let you know how it went. There are a total of 13 girls of our club competing today. In 5 different levels I think, over 3 different sessions.
