watching the NCAA Championship online. Having seen many college meets, I know there a difference in deductions given in NCAA vs level 10. In general, what are they?

Also wondering if there is a general guideline. Can an incoming college gymnast expect to increase her L10 score by a certain number of tenths (b/c of the difference in NCAA, not just improvement in her skills)? Does this happen on all events? And does this happen across all gymnasts? Looking at the regional scores for L10, there are obviously scores already approaching a 10 so do the difference in deductions affect them less?

One more difference is that missed special requirements are 0.5 in JO but only 0.2 in NCAA.

The joke among judges is you take half the deduction in NCAA that you would take in JO. Step on the landing, 0.1 in JO. Let's call this a "small adjustment" and take 0.05 in NCAA. Major body shape error, 0.20 in JO, 0.05 or 0.10 in NCAA.
