I am Australia too! We go from 9 till 3.23 such a random time but anyway. We have holidays in 2 days! These go for 2 weeks. Then we will have 4th term

I'm in the uk.
At primary school, I went to school 8:45 - 15:05.
At secondary school, I went to school 8:30 - 15:00
Now at sixth form, I go to school 8:30 - 15:00 but only spend 80% of my timetable in lessons. We also get optional guided study 15:00 - 16:20.

WHAT !!!!

If that was here no-one would attend !

Haha, so true, but WI requires three semesters of music as a graduation requirement. Oddly, most of us didn't mind it too much. I'm from a rural area, so getting up at 4.45 or 5 to help with chores is really common, and we got done with classes early-ish, so sports practices and such could actually be held before dark (the sun sets sometime between 3.50pm and 5pm seven months a year...)
But, like I said, I live in a weird, non traditional district and even with practices (everyone did at least two sports) and a rigorous courseload, most of us were in bed by 9.30. (Yay for no cell reception, shoddy TV reception, and spotty internet connections in the pre-social media era?)
