Head Optional and Compulsory Coach

PDA USA Gymnastics Academy is looking for experienced coaches to lead our very competitive girls optional and compulsory teams. Our program has been built from the ground up with a strong compulsory program and a growing optional program. The potential applicants will need a strong desire to put a gym name on the map with a background coaching compulsories and optionals (level 10 experience) with a good working knowledge of current routines and USAG requirements. This position would design training plans, competitions, level changes, parent communication ect. Owners will oversee but not coach. Looking for coaches who want to have a gym in place and passionate to develop all the way through level 10 with University direction. We have a strong preteam in place with dedicated coaches.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Optional Coach will coach Optional Gymnasts only- create optional schedule and rotation
Compulsory Coach will coach Compulsory Gymnasts only- create compulsory schedule and
rotation
Knowledge and ability to teach current USAG compulsory routines & skills, develop optional routines & skills
Must have a wide knowledge and experience in hands-on spotting techniques
Optional coach must have level 10 experience and able to spot Bars, Vault and Foor
Compulsory coach must have level 3-5 experience willing to spot lower levels
Must be a current USAG professional member
Travel to competitions on weekends will be required.
Salary pay depending on resume

Optional Coach only- 1 bedroom apartment included in pay (Southern California is expensive so this is a great perk in the position, apartment 5 miles from gym 5 miles from the beach)
