MAG So...A Bucket in the Tree?

My kid loves doing the bucket at gymnastics time and went nuts when he saw one at Lowes. It was cold at the time and I was like, "No way, where do you think we'd hang it?"
But now that weather is nicer, and I'm looking at the big ol maple tree in our backyard, I'm thinking that hanging a bucket from a branch would be fun.

Just a fun idea or horrible idea that will forever ruin his form when he does it for real?

Not a bad idea, as long as it's hung at the right height. Practicing circles at home is one of the few things that tends to help progress, vs hinder it. You could mention it to his coach. Just let the coach know your ds was really excited about the idea, and wants to practce circles at home.
