I was on a website the other day for nationals, and now cannot find it. Can anyone help?

It appears to still be down. Yesterday I was somehow able to get to the information that I wanted by doing a more exact search. I don't know what I entered yesterday to get me there but can't get there today.

We went to Opening Ceremony last night so I needed to see what time it started and cost of tickets. Opening Ceremony was fantastic! Glad it is in Michigan this year. It ended up being a 2 hour drive for us but was worth it.

Thanks. That is what I had....but it wasn't working so I assumed I had done it wrong ;) It seems to be better today.

Does anyone know times for the sessions today? And are they doing live scoring? I am at work and would love to follow!

Oh, gosh, now the live scoring...we've got 3 guys going right now, and a guy later tonight (whose little sister plays softball with my daughter, and she's staying with us). I don't have a dog in this fight, but I still kind of want to throw up just watching for the kids I know!

OK, what does an asterisk mean next to a placing? Like 26* - is it a multiple place tie? (As in, T means a 2-way tie, * is 3 or more?)

Probably a dumb question, but do you have to choose either JE or JO? From what I see for guys from our gym, it looks like they are competing in one or the other, but the JE guys aren't listed in the JO results. I guess I thought everyone did JO and then JE was more like extra credit. :)

So at nationals, you do have declare JE or JO. ANd to do JE, you had to compete it at state/regionals. So they are separate at nationals. JE kids that compete both days..one day optional routines and one day compulsary. JO will do their optional routines twice if they make it to the 2nd day.

So this is the first year I've been particularly interested in the ins and outs of how it all works. I've now seen why they get event specialists - I always figured that if you were *that* good in one event, you were probably pretty good in all of them. And I supposed that's true - after all, you had to be great to get to Nationals (for example) in the first place! But one of our guys placed fairly low AA, and for 5 events, his highest placement was 50-something, but for 1, he was in the top few so will get to compete in finals. I just never realized how much strengths and weaknesses come into play even at this level! (And just to kind of brag, although I had nothing to do with it, lol, our other JO guys did respectably, and our JE guy is doing great! Yay!)

Now I feel bad, I just saw one of our other JO guys qualified in the event that's been giving him the hardest time (yay!) and is an alternate for another event. And even though I'm not naming names or anything, I feel the need to give him the anonymous credit!
