High bar grips on rings

Wanted to know any feelings on wearing high bar grips for rings. I have known many gymnasts in the past who have worn them on rings, many of whom swung very well. Any comments? Obviously the dowel would be smaller, but I did lock arms in small dowel ring grips quite comfortably...

This would void all warranties on the grips and you would be swinging at your own risk as this not advised.

With that being said, I don't see a problem with it if it's more comfortable. I don't like the third finger for rings. You could also try women's grips for a smaller dowel with only 2 fingers (just make sure you size them like men's grips).

Yes the warranty issue is definately an issue...Probably a Safety Certifier's nightmare...having said that I think Safoshkin wears high bar grips for rings...at least it looked like that from worlds this year
