Riiiippppsssss

Hello;
In gymnastics terms a rip is just what it sounds like a rip. It is when the skin on the gymnasts hands rips open from over use and dryness. It is like a blister and often the gymnats can get blood or fluid under the affected area. They are usually on the palm or knuckle area of the hand. They hurt{That goes with out saying} but the girls in most clubs wear then as badges of honor. Why? It means they are working hard on bars. Your first rip is an initaution of sorts. Welcome to the board BTW.
