I budgeted 16k for my level 10 this year. Including gym, travel, apparel, and all. Plus another 15k for private high school. Good thing she doesn't eat much ;).
Very successful foreign coach to group of level 9/10 girls at the beginning of fall training, "You can choose food or you can choose success".
I don't like it, but there is no doubt it is out there, folks. It's hard/impossible to escape at the upper levels and college. Teach healthy eating from...
Modeling does NOT lead to a loss of ncaa eligibility unless the model is paid. My daughter has done this and NCAA preapproved the contract. They can be paid for actual expenses (transportation/meals/airfare) but not for the actual 'modeling'. In addition, here's the wording from the NCAA as...

(this photo might be really distorted - sorry!) Once the swelling is down, this is the Cadillac of elbow braces. I believe that this one was custom made by an orthotist in Michigan. It has adjustable stops and I have heard prices range from $900 up. Some insurance companies will cover the custom...
I really have nothing to add to this except that Dunno and Larry (love, love, love him) gave this same advice to my daughter about five years ago. She had Severs in badly in both heels. My daughter followed the plan and *magically* about 17 months later the heels were fine and she was living...
