Back handspring problem? :(

Ah, yes, I always have some big issue on my back handspring.
-On the landing of my back handspring, my hands are way behind me and my head, chest, and belly land way in front, often causing me to hit my head on the landing.
-I always try to jump as powerfully as I can and push my arms way back and block, but NOTHING works.
-I also don't know if I should be thinking before I do my back handspring, or anything like that which may throw me off as well.
-In the first half of my handspring my arms are right by my ears but when I come down, I fall forward.
-Keep in mind I can do it on tumble track and trampoline with a strong rebound and perfect form.
Please help me out! :(

One thing that REALLY helped me on these babies is right before your hands hit the ground, tighten your core. It will help you to extend your BHS and it will make it an easier snap down. Try not to arch if your are because undercutting is just one way to mess up your whole back handspring, and just more deductions! Hope this helps!
