WAG Cutting Floor Music

I have my floor music, but now I need to cut it to under a minute in length! Are there any common mistakes made or any pointers you can give? Heres the song:

Main advice I'd give you would be to listen for the beat in the background that's present throughout most of your music. To my ears, there's nothing worse than a sudden sequence of two beats in the wrong interval. Urgh.

Make sure the melody is varied throughout the cut and make sure when you put pieces together the clip change isn't jarring.

Decide if you want to cut in the middle or at the end. Find a good end if you do choose to cut from the end... I don't like when they end abruptly. Decide if you really want the starting beep (if not, get rid of it).
