Well, I am 15 now, and i started when I was 7, so I guess its been 8 years. It doesn't feel like that!
I grew up with a very small club where I was the only dedicated boy and there wasn't a gymnast above level 4 so it was a big change when we moved into a town with a bigger club.
It was there that I moved up the levels to level 6, and competed at state, and got chosen for the state team.
But alas, my coach wasn't very dedicated to my training and wouldn't take me to Melbourne every weekend.
She was too 'busy'.
So I have quit competition, moved clubs and am training for skills and the love it. But who knows, I might get back into it one day
