How do you motivate and get your girls to work to their potential? Right now I am working (new season) level 3, 4 and 5's. I have seen them do better before, and I can tell a lot of their work is looking bad due to laziness or simply not listening to my corrections (I never give tons of corrections at once, maybe two at a time, until they understand it and know how to fix it...)
How do you motivate them to work 110% ??? Im at wits end...

Someone just started a similar thread on motivation http://www.chalkbucket.com/forums/threads/motivational-tools.42419/
Hope that helps :)

-Sometimes I find it helps to do little "competitions" within sessions. Eg sometimes I'll give the gymnasts say 10 minutes to practice their beam routines or maybe even just a beam complex. Each gymnast then has to show their routine to the rest of the group whilst I give them a rough mark and we see who does the best :) suddenly you find their form has significantly improved :p I only do this every now and then though as it is quite time consuming to have the girls go one at a time!
