I Am a Level for gymnast and my first meet is comming up Sunday. I need help on my Long-Hand Pullover and Round off backhandspring. My coaches say my shoulder flexibilaty is not good and im really tight in my shoulders and that thats why im not making them both. I really want to do good on my meet. Any tips on how to MAKE my long-hand pullover and Backhandspring?

A long hang pullover from a dead stop doesn't require a lot of shoulder flexibility. If it's from a swing, it is more about swinging correctly, the timing of the tap and swinging up versus out.

You can compensate for tight shoulder by placing your hands wider. It's not a great fix but it does allow for your shoulder to open. However, it is more difficult to hold HS this way and don't land on your head.

For the RO, you do not want to go wide with your hand placement though. Quick hand placement down about a beat between each other. The temp should be 1-2-3, vs 1-twooooooooo-three
