I am figuring out slowly how much more laid back t&t seems to be compared to artistic, but I am still wondering if this is normal. I have been asking DDs HC about meet schedules for a few weeks- My other DD needs to select the meets she will attend this spring and I am trying to avod conflict where possible.
HC told me that they will not plan a meet schedule until sometime in December- meets start mid January. They only know the dates for states and regionals as those are posted via usag. Is it normal to plan so close to the start of the season? I am a planner and the two girls at three gyms is a logistical nightmare even outside of meet season, so this stresses me out big time.
I am the only person who takes them to practices and meets, so I feel like I need to plan as far ahead as possible- not sure if that's making me see this as nuts, when really it's normal for t&t. Thanks for any insight!
