DS got an ugly friction burn about 2" long on the back of his knee (I think mostly below the bend though) from the mushroom at practice last night.

His first comp is Sunday morning. I need a first aid protocol for this healing fast.

This need not substitute for medical advice. We can go to drop in this afternoon and see what they have to offer. But they don't always know the first aid.

Also, if it isn't healed by Sunday morning, what should I cover it with / wrap it?

when DD gets a bad beam burn I put Balmex (yup, diaper rash stuff) on it. I don't think you would need to cover it but you could always put one of those bandaids that seals on all sides if needed.

they'll have pre-wrap. that's all he needs to cover it with for the meet. easy on and easy off.
