Okay so I was wondering if I am just a head case or if others do this too...
I don't get spot too much at practice, but when I do I prefer certain coaches for certain skills. For a long time I only let my "summer coach" spot me on back tucks off the beam, but I prefer my "school year" coach for vault and flyaways. The level 4/dance coach is a really good spotter though and she finally made me do back tucks off the beam with her spot.
I think this all started last winter when the coach i had from pre team to level 6 left and was replaced with 4 new, unfamiliar coaches which resulted in pulling in on a flyaway and a scar on my foot.
