State Squads

Hi there Aussie mums and dads. I've been following your posts for a few months but finally plucked up the courage to join your community. I've learned so much from all that the gym community has shared and I hope I can help others out as well, and generally just connect with people who spend as much time in the gymnastics vortex as I do!

We are based in Queensland and I'm interested to hear how state squads work in each state. This is my daughter's first year in the world of senior gymnastics, and our state seems to be doing things a bit differently to how they have in the past.

So I'd love to hear what is involved in being in the state squad and what the gymnasts get out of it.
