Youngest had a meet yesterday and she hasn't had but two full practices in over 3 weeks and hasn't been on a high beam since she hurt herself. At run through she wasn't looking so hot and my expectations were low for the meet-though her coach said she'd pull it off and she did. They only cleared her as of Wed to compete all events.. it was planned she'd scratch floor and beam but she is doing well at PT and they cleared her. So she was rusty and sick with a sinus infection and ear infection but excited to get to compete. On floor she added a back handspring and boy was she mad, lol. She wants to know the deduction for adding a skill and I have no clue. She is a lvl 4.

She incurs a .3 deduction for "adding an element" and then any execution deductions that go along with her backhandspring (arms, legs, etc.)

Thanks! She was so mad at herself, it was cute. My oldest did the same thing as a level 5 too.
