Some of the recreational girls I coach want to begin learning front tuck halves, however, I have no idea how to go about teaching them the twist. Any drills or advice would be appreciated.

I had my first comp at the weekend and I had no idea it would be so long!! I was there for 6 hours :eek:! First up was vault. My first one was a bit iffy but I stuck the landing on the 2nd one- score of 10.350 and 15 place on vault. Over to bars, I wasn't sure I was even going to compete bars...

I've been picked to take part in a novice competition at the end of April, i think there are only 2 other girls from the recreational side taking part and the rest are from the comp squad. You only have to do 3 pieces so i won't be doing bars. I'm really excited so wish me luck :D

pattymello: We aren't allowed to video at the gym so i can't get any videos of it. What I meant by over rotate was that I do almost like 1 1/2 somersaults to land on my back and roll backwards out of it if that makes sense! dunno: I think my eyes were open lol :)
