I've heard that double-sided tape helps orthotics stay in, but I've never tried it. In mine, I just make sure that I push the orthotic all the way into the heel part of my shoe so it won't move.
I do this too. Whenever I have a skill where I have to go upside down and my hands won't touch the floor, my eyes are closed.
This makes it really hard for me to land front tucks.
