WAG Why not elite for Young level 9s and 10s?

Not true at all. Every gym is different and I think it is a gross assumption to think that every "competitive" gym trains the same.

WAG Why not elite for Young level 9s and 10s?

I disagree. There are many athletes at our gym who are not training for the next level as they have much more training to do at their current level. Stating that everyone is training for the next level implies that everyone is training up and I just don't think that is the case for everyone...

    Parents Sever's Question

When my DD was dealing with this we did massage and ice after practice. On days that we knew she was going to have more vaulting/stress on her heels, she also took some ibuprofen prior to practice which she says helped.

It was a lifesaver for my daughter who constantly had rips that never had time to resolve because she is in...

WAG Level 4 to level 8?!?!?

She did have her Yurchenko. It took her a couple of meets before she felt comfortable competing it, however. She would do one vault a front handspring and then one Yurchenko. She was piking it by the end of the season. She is very quick to pick up new skills!

WAG Level 4 to level 8?!?!?

My daughter jumped from level 4 to level 8. As an 8 year old, she competed level four for the 2015-2016 season, tested out of 5 at the end of the season when she turned 9. She skipped Level 6, did 2 meets at the start of the 2016-2017 season as a Level 7 and then they moved her to Level 8. It is...
