I'm a WAG gymnast who also wants to branch into MAG (thank you naigc!), just vault and floor for now. I'm competing WAG Platinum mostly because my bars and beam are lacking, but I have been upgrading my tumbling and vaults quickly lately and plan to keep doing so through the rest of the season...
I’m sure this is obvious and/or has been asked many times but I can’t find anything that really clarifies in words that make sense to me. The vault I have been training is truly best described as a 1/4 on 3/4 off, I punch facing forwards, turn my body 90 degrees so my hands are pointing sideways...
